Nothing looks destroyed. The pinion was really deep before I tore it apart but I can't find any real damage. I'm tempted to put it back together and see what happens.

I honestly think this thing was rebuilt after the damage and they did a shitty job cleaning out the housing. I'm going to reassemble it and check the pattern.

It's a pretty badass paperweight right now. Until all my parts roll in anyway.
I'm waiting on my R&P install kit, knuckle rebuild kits, spindle bushings, knuckle studs and some other stuff to show up. The passenger side birf was really stiff, when I took a closer look I found that I've got one longfield birf and one old marlin crawler marfield birf. Which was only a slight upgrade from stock. I also discovered that my in ear axles were still the stock 27spl shafts. The bastards that built this thing or some cheap ****s. So I'm waiting on a set of RCV chromoly axles to show up as well.

Yes upgrade the birfs. Seems like any difficult trail I've done with yotas someone breaks a birf.
Were they backing up turned full lock?

That and hubs I imagine. I know one tons would solve some issues but I really don't want to go full width.
No keep your toys on 37s it will be fine. When you jump to 40s that's when it really becomes a problem.
Do you still have the aisin hubs?

That's what I've heard. I've seen guys run 40s but they've got 6 shooters and they're super lightweight. Less than 3000lbs kinda light.
Yeah I do. The RCVs come with their own inner hub gears though. I guess that means I'll kill outer hub gears or hub housings, well, that and R&Ps. I like being able to unlock the hubs for street driving.
Might as well right? The plan is to eventually buggy this truck. The more I build it now, the less I have to later on.
