Hump n Bump was a great time, a completely successful wheeling trip! Daisy did great dragging the Toyota there and back and gave me a comfortable place to sleep while I was there. The yota handled everything I pointed it at, without issue. It really surprised me a time or two with the shit it was able to climb. The steering worked great as well, a LOT better than it was.
The trails I drove this weekend were the hardest and most technical I've driven yet. Stuff that Daisy would never make it through, even the tiny little yota took some body damage a few times. Every time I drive this thing I get more comfortable with it. I lift tires a lot and it still manages to feel really stable. Having the gearing options I do makes things much easier. A lot of the time on climbs I'd use double low and set the hand throttle at about 1500rpm. Learning to slow down and let the truck work is key. This thing doesn't really need momentum to bump itself over obstacles like heavier trucks do. The sticky tires really compliment the low wheelspeed, several times I was able to let them spin a little as I work the steering a little and it would claw its way up and over things. I'm just really happy with this truck right now. Haha!
