Music to my ears!

I love how nice this engine sounds, got her timed up, fixed the wastegate, but still have a dribbly injector making blue smoke The smoke you see when I rev is actually a blackish haze, goes blue when the turbo spools.

3" straight pipe, 6.2L diesel, GM-3 Turbo, NV4500 manual trans, NP241 t-case. just about time to start driving her around, honestly sounds like a big block with a nice quiet set of turbo mufflers on it when you drive it down the road

I love the way your 3" sounds...mine is 4" with no muffler ans I don't like it.

she sounds real nice . how did you pass your exhaust at the inner fender! i see its outside the frame.

The exhaust shop cut my inner fender out to allow the exhaust pipe to pass through it. It dumps straight down from the turbo, bends overtop of the shock mount, then drops down between the shock mount and the firewall. Thats where they trimmed the inner fender

Nope, the blown motor is still in the 86, I haven't done anything but steal parts off that truck since then. This is in my project truck, my 80 K25
