My 82 k5 build thread/ pickup tail gate

I got my 14bff rebuilt 5.13s detriot locker btf disc brake brackets.
So i am getting ready to swap my blazers front 6 lug 10 bolt over to 8 lug.
I have an 8 lug 10 bolt that i can take all the parts off of. I want to take all the 8 lug stuff off that one 10 bolt and put it on the 10 bolt that is under my k5 right now. My question is do i have to use the 3/4 ton spindles on my 1/2 ton 10 bolt? Can i reuse all my 1/2 ton wheel bearings spindle lock nuts the 1 washer and all the misc hardware, and yes i have read the write up in the tech article section.

you can reuse your 1/2 ton spindles, so dont worry about beating the crap out of them anymore

All right thanks, I didn't realy damage the 3/4 ton spindles they just flat out wont come off.

I finished my half door yesterday.

I also swaped 8 lug outers on my 10 bolt. I got my friend to swap all 4 tires on my 8 lug wheels, and i am going to swap in my 14 bolt tomarow.

I got the 14 bolt installed today!

I really like how your floorboards turned out. Did you use the roll on kit or did you have it done professionally. I'm gonna do Herculiner on mine before the end of summer, have any suggestions?

Thanks bro's, i had the floor professionally sprayed. I did herculine my fiberglass top and it seemed to turn out well, it has not chiped off or any thing. The only suggestion i have is to do good prep work so the herculiner will stick good.

All i have left now is hook up my rear brake lines, get some brake pads put on my calipers and swap in my conversion u joint. I am not looking forward to hooking up my brake lines, thats going to suck. I had to cut my hard lines going to the drums on my 10 bolt and i cut my e brake cables, but i don't plan on runnig an e brake. I dont realy even know where to start. I guess i am going to need some new hard lines going to the calipers. Any advice is apreciated. or any pictures of yout 14ff disc brake lines.

These are the lines i have. i bought a 14 bolt ff disc brake line kit from ord and the extended stainless brake line kit. and those two banjo bolts are to big and wont thread into my calipers.

I installed a pickup tailgate on my blazer today, it was the easiest modifaction
i have done so far. I aslo started spray bombing my k5 flat black.
