That bumper is cool. You’re very lucky to find something like that used. I don’t think I would have the heart to cut the front fenders on solid rust free/bondo free metal but I wouldn't give it a second thought to cut off the side wings on the bumper. If you know what brand it is let us know. Looks great!

Thanks Larry. Luckily (I guess) the fenders weren't rust free, so I didn't have to cry about it. I have no idea who made the bumper.

I am going to have to build a mounting plate of some sort to get my Warn M12000 to mount. The front winch mounting bolts stick out about a 1/2" past the front of the front of the bumper mounting surface. The plan so far is to get a piece of 1/2" plate and and have it bolt to the the bumper and the winch with the rear mounting holes, and just to the winch with the front mounting holes. Any opinions on if I need/should weld the plate to the bumper?

The winch is almost mounted. The bracket is made and just needs to be welded to the bumper.

Nice! I wish I had designed my bumper a little differently to keep my M12000. They're freaking huge.

Finally got my center console wired with w blue sea fuse block and 4 12 volt outlets and my cb.

They are all Blue Sea products. I bought them from Amazon, all with prime, so free 2 day shipping.

Final update. Getting out of the Suburban scene. I never have time to work on it, so I was never going to get it built. My wife has an 04 K2500 w/ a 8.1L, so I guess not completely. I ended up getting a 2000 Lexus LX470! Look for a bunch of parts for sale in the classifieds.
