My Drums are weird. HELP!!

Or drill them out, they are cheap to replace but if yer goin disc, it wouldnt matter

i popped the retainers and stretched the shiza out of all of the srings in there. the shoes are ****ing not seperating a bit.

i have the drum pryed about an ionch away with a crowbar

any one else?

gaahahdhashdhahsd abdb fuyabiufbwef .

even if the shoes arent moving?

i think ill ruiin my bearing if i keep prying at this rate.

try this??

Did you try cutting the heads off the retainers that hold the shoes to the backing plates??--on a few stubborn drums I had to not only cut those "nails" off,but the wheel cylinder retainer clip too--once I took the clip and metal line off the wheel cylinder, everything fell apart fairly easy...make sure the E-brake cable has enough slack too...

well ive been prying like yall said and i really buggerd up the end of my axle tubes. the threads where the lock nuts go are pretty buggard up.

i hate this kinda sstuff

Well here's one for you I just got a 14 ff from a buddy of a buddy and the drum would not come off I tried everthing, come to find out the drum and the brake shoes fused them self together, I had to cut the e brake cable bolts off the backing plate as well as the two spring retainer shafts and the large bolt that the shoe's ride against at the top then the drum slide right off, bad news the shoe still wont come loose of the drum after beating the snot out of them with a 4lb hammer, Owell time for a disc brake conversion. :hack: :grind: :D

ok i found a metal blade in one of my old circular saws and got thru most of the backing plate. i was aiming at sliceing at that bigbolt off and i ended up wacking it the rest of the way with a chizzle.

the threads wasant buggerd up as bad as i thot.
