When I was in college, I was greek. I was a member of ZBT, and was part of a traditionally linear family. This semester is the last semester of the youngest member of the family, and since he was a FNG this semester, he can't take a little brother. My family tree is now dead 15 'generations' of a linear family from a founding father through Alpha Delta class (I was Chi class). I'll be back at the same school for Fall 2008 semester, the question is, do I let the family die, or take a little and let the tree fork so the family can stay active? If I let the family die, the fraternity has only three active families left, we started with 13. By the time I joined we were down to 5, right now there's only 4.
