Just thought i would start a thread with the main goal to help anyone out with with there built. Please ask any questions you have.

Just a little about my self, this blazer is for off road use only. I have no care of body damage or care the way it looks. I had a very nice jeep, i will post picks, and cared way to much for it. I sold the jeep for 2 reasons. I sold my house, and i need 4 seats for my family. Now has came the time i have a garage to work out of so here we go. My #1 concern is safety, so no safety will be spared. I had a very bad roll in my jeep when i was younger, do to safety issues. Not saying i will not roll the blazer, put i want to say every safety measure was met. I have a wife and 2 young ones, so they are #1.

Here we have a 86 model. I bought it with the rear end jack up. That was good for me because i had a D60 and 14 bolt just waitin to get used.

I have been welding my beadlocks seams like weeks but got them done, my little girl had to play w the tires first. It is already her blazer, and wants to paint it pink. I love her but pink is to far. Got my drive shafts w 1350s all around.

hahahahaha

I love it
no worries, use it, abuse it, treat it with some tender loving fender damage
and yes, safety is a good thing, also prolly one of the most overlooked items on a build

got a lot done this week, my bumper on, diff cover in, my tube in and started bending its 2in, 120 wall.

Love the build. Paint it pepto bismol pink! Jk. Where did you get the front bumper or was that a custom fab?

That bumper is from diy4x.com It is very heavy duty, ready to bolt on. You would have to call kert to have it custom made. I have order a lot of stuff from him, and everything is high quality.

Cool build...
Your lil girl is just too cute. I bet she's a great helper:waytogo:

trying to get the cage finished, got some new pics for ya. the places i had to cut to go through the dash i put slugs in so strenth should be fine. also last week at work we got a new ladle crane. we had to have 2 550 ton cranes to come in and lift the old on up, and roll the new on under. it was a cool site to watch.

It is a jd square. It's a big work out. 2in 120 wall is the biggest tube you can use in it. I welded a 2foot cheater bar to the handle and we all took turns pullin.

got alot done. i got my transfercase skip plate done. got my diff covers on. seats mounted. to go wheelin i just need a bar to hook up my belts.
