Loving my K5 more than ever this year and that's because of the guys at offroad limited and their roll bar kit. Put that bad boy in and got a top custom made by my local upholstery shop and blamo-happy family ride times are here! Thanks Colorado K5 for leading me to this excellent company. Everyone should purchase products from them.

I vote for pics without the bikini top o you can see the cage. :thumb:

Works perfect for me for what I wanted it for. A structure for support of the custom bimini. I will not be doing anything that would put me in the position of a rollover where I have passengers in the rear.

Why would offroad ltd offer this without that added structural support. It could even be a piece that bolts in since that seems to be a feature of their roll bars. Minimal added cost/weight but much greater protection than not having it.

My moma told me not to say anything if I don't have something nice to say. But I agoing too.

Offroad limited bashed on my truck build my second year at BB. Said it would never work right.:haha::haha:

The bolt on stuff they build is crap. I have fixed a number of their custom features.

The cage you have is not as strong as the original top. If you only want it for shade, you are fine. For roll over protection, it needs more material.

Does the cage tie in to the frame or is it bolted to the floor. I have been looking at one of these bars for awhile now...really like the way it looks but would like it more if it can be secured to the frame.
