heres a couple of shots of my new console.. not quite done yet.. still need to hinge and put a lock in the door. also going to make a black cushion to sit on the back 2/3's of the door for an armrest...

the switchs are light tipped marine units... also has a removable box over the shifter cable...

hey Chris, thanks... the shifter is saweeet.. when i ordered it i wasn't sure how it stayed on one side or the other, but it has a nice detent to lock it in nicely left or right.. i may remove the one gate on the right side to have a free throw from 2 to N.. the 3, 4 gate on the left is the one i was most interested in having...

the box is built like a brick sh*thouse..... although the stock selftappers to the floor would probably have been adequate, i eliminated them and thrubolted it instead...

just got back from banging it thru the gears on the highway and it doesn't budge...
