Ever since I got the Stak in I have had some CRAZY axle wrap. So I decided to build a truss and tracion bar to control it all.
To build the truss I used some 3"x3/8" flat and cut/bent it to my liking. Then I plated both sides with some 16g sheet.
Heres some pics:
Then made some plate to tie it into the pinion support.
I then started the mick up of the bushings. The bushings are from DIY4X and the tabs are made out of some 3/8" plate.
Heres the actual traction bar I came up with. The twist/slip parts are made out of some 2"x.25"wall DOM then a piece of 1.5"x.25"wall DOM and turned it down for a nice smooth slip. The 1.5" tube goes 12" into each side for more support.
The main bars are made out of 1.75"x.120" HREW with some 1"x.120" Square braces.
It seems to work good, I can jack the whole truck up with the pinion and the springs dont even budge.
I wish I had my steering done so I could go try it out!!

I have had my rig up to around 50 mph and its a smooth ride.
