3/4 ton status
Yesterday was the day that I FINALLY put in my 1 ton alxes, lift and new tires /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif
Whole thing went relatively painless and quick. the additions are: FRONT - D60 w/4:56's, ORD crossover steering, MOO diff cover
REAR - 14BFF w/4:56's, Detroit, disc brakes, MOO diff cover and axle truss
Front has new 4" TC Ez Rides (thanks ORD) HD greasable shackles (jjlaughner) and no thanks to Echobit for sending me a shackle flip that needed modification /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
Both front and rear received extended lines (thanks OL14BLAZ)
Tires are BFG Mud TA 35x12.5x15 on US Wheel 15x10 w/4" BS
Front and rear spring plates are courtesy of
JMR Offroad (Muddytazz)
The shocks I bought are far too long for the front but the rear will work after I fab an upper mount for them. Will for sure have to get shorter fronts. HINT: Put on you lift and then measure to see what shocks you will need rather than listening to what others have and what they say works /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif
Tomorrow I will put the driveshafts back in since I just got the u-joints in today and I need to fab a brake line that attaches the factory hard lines to the extended stainless line. then it's time to play.
Pics can be found at MY WEBSHOTS but here's a teaser...the lines above the wheels are were the fenders will be cut tomorrow to match the passenger side /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif
