nice thread. that is a nice truck. are you going to be doing any serious wheeling with that setup. if so, get some HD shafts and u-joints. the stock shafts won't hold up to much shock load with those tires.

I'd like to be cool and say I'm a wheel'in mo fo.......but in reality this is a pavement pounder. These old rigs cost to much to beat up off road (IMO)
I've already sunk bout $6K into the motor, tranny, and other odds and ends.

The first gen blazers are getting fewer and farther apart, so i think i'm gonna try to just make this one purdy.

nothing wrong with a show'er no go'er. my 83 truck is a wheeler. when I build up my K5 it will be show/tow rig. keep the pics coming. this thread is great. gotta love pic whoring.
