Why go thru the trouble, just find a step side bed and be done with it.

Because that wouldn't be any fun, and it would be different.
on a 90s something dodge xcab. I think in newest petersons
that would also make it a longbed stepside

That Dodge in petersen's was some fiberglass sides some dood made a few of. Saw it on a forum somewhere....
