need '86 S-10 Blazer specs

An '86 S-10 Blazer with a V6, an auto, and 2wd.... Is that a 2.8, or a 4.3? (Obviously it's carbed.) What tranny would it be?

Chances are it is a 60* 2.8 not a 4.3 that is 90* ....... and it will be a TH700R4 tranny.

it could be a 2.4 I4 or a 2.8 V6 86 was also the first year for fuel injection in the S-10 Blazers

Awesome shiat, dude.... Thanks. So it is a TBI 2.8 (still crap). Now, does anyone know what tranny is behind that motor????? Here's pics of the '86 in question:

they put the 700-R4 in theses. The tranny will have a 60 degree bellhousing pattern
