lift kits for 88 K5 at reasonable prices thx
My goal is to put 38" tires on it. I want to go with a 6" suspension lift with 3" body but the thing is I don't know exactly what I'm going to need in order to accomplish this goal. Any information would be appreciated. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
I'd go with 6" front springs, 2" rear springs(or blocks) and a shackle flip(which will give you 4"s of lift). Then if your dead set on a 3" body lift, the add that also /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
What is a shackle flip?
shackle flip is awesome.... but not legal everywhere... NJ wont allow it through inspection....
basically a shackle flip is the rear hanger is removed for the leafs.... and basically instead of the leaf being mounted higher than the frame it is lower... like in leaf jeeps.. how they are in the front... just a shackle hanging from the frame.... allows more flex....
So if I did a shackle flip on the rear that would lift the rear end up by 4" and wont cost anything?
o crap... there go my plans down the tubes... stupid nj inspection...
