Need help chaning output shaft seal on NP208

    Could someone tell me how to remove and install the seal on the rear output shaft of an NP208 tcase?? Have a pretty good drip since it got lifted... Thanks!

    It's just pressed in with a slight flange on the back edge.
    Pull the drive shaft and you can usually get a screw driver in to work it out or a puddy knife under the flange to start it. Make sure you check the yoke on the drive shaft for scores or groves. If it has any, you might want to get a new yoke and throw a new u-joint on. Don't forget to put a pan under it when you pull the drive shaft and I use a little sealer on the outside edge of the new seal when installing. Alittle grease on the yoke before reinstalling is also a good idea.
