any instructions in the new box?

i got the snap ring off and some spring...but i still cant getr it off....what now?

theres an nut setup that holds the hub to the spindle. you remove the first nut, then the washer that locks the back nut and finally the back nut. the hub should come all the way off once you remove those.

I DONT HAVE THE Wheel off and i dont have a jack where i am i tried yankin on ot with some plyers eith no luck all i see is the gears that i posted. am i missing something. i gotta get this 4x4 workin tonight or im stuck here

There should be a snap ring (small) on the stub shaft and there will be a ring on the inner surface of the hub. Use one of the allen head bolts and thread it into the part that you are trying to remove. Once threaded, you should be able to use the bolt to pull the locking hub out. If it will not pull out, the large snap ring needs to be removed from the inner surface of the hub

^^^^Beat me to it^^^^

There is an internal snapring, looks like a piece of wire on the I.D. of hub. Looking for a diagram now.

He is working on a 10 bolt with mile marker locking hubs. He has removed both snap rings but the "guts" won't come out.

Any suggestions??

kept trying and it wont budge. im scared to start on the other side. is it alright to drive a few miles tommorow on it or not? I HAVNT GIVIN UP YET

thanks for trying to help man:D

there should be a lock ring (large) and the retaining ring (small), and only those two.

I don't know for sure about getting the guts out though...

ok imistook another ring for the inner snap ring. i have been tryin to pull it out with a pocket knife but no luck do they make snap ring pullers? do they have them at walmart because i need some wheel hub grease too? i plan on being up till friggin 2 in the morning doing this.

Just use a flat blade. Find the end of the ring, and shove the flat blade in between the hub wall and the ring, it'll pop up onto the end of the driver. Use a second driver to pull it out towards you, then just grab it with your needle nose pliers and pull it out.

ok i got both of them in with a quick trip to wally word for a set of mini picks works good. NOW i cant figure out where the hell the bigger c clip goes!!!! im freakin out and its to late but i gotta get this done
