Well I have 33 12.50 baja claws. 2 have 80% and 2 have 10%, I am looking for a reasonable set of shoes...... Plus it lives off the road pulling alot haha

yeah.. but they are boggers!

anything less than $200 is prob ok.

claws radial or bias ?

boggers only bias.

bad stuff to mix match bias & radial on same vehicle/trailer

radials on my claws, and i'm ocd about things matching, so they wont be miss matched.

Hate to say this, look on pirate4x for some used Baha Claws to match what you have now. Do you do a lot of burn outs? 2 at 80 and 2 at 10? What's up with that?

Well I had a buddy with them on his jeep and and he only believed in buying 2 tires at a time, so when he changed i got his 2 good tires and his spare and bought 1 new one........ budget tires.

I would not pay more than a 100 bucks for those. I can find bald swamper whatevers for a couple hundo all day long.

Although I have bought and sold a couple sets of tires where I actually felt bad and dishonest. Sold a guy a set of BALD 40" boggers for 300 bucks I had grooved them alot so they had some tread on em. I just threw that number out there and he said done!

if i can get them cheaper, do you think i could grove them enough to get some more tread out of them, and still be safe to run on the road?

I don't think you want to do that. When I got mine, one was pretty bald, the others not so much. I bought a groover on ebay for $89.00 and groved mine. I hit the cords in 2 places. I wouldn't want to drive on the freeway for too long on these. In my build thread, you can see where I grooved them. It will take forever to do those, like maybe 8 hrs. I should have bought a bigger blade. I would only groove them for wheelin and not a DD tire.

Hmmmm  I might jus c if i can get them cheaper and run them for what they are worth. I have never owned bias tires before, how fast should I expect them to wear out? I know the K5 is heavy, so it will prb be quick?

you wont like the ride prob. thay get flat spots sitting. but then when you drive them the flat spots will come out. thay take a lot of weight to try and ballence.

i would look for a pair of radials to match to the ones you got beit claws/bfg/procomp who cares the brand.

I love the claws, but its not a dd. But I have been looking for a while and short of putting new tires on it or onions that someone has gotten the goody out of, I cant find any 33 1250's. No one runs them anymore around here. New claws are $203 a tire........ there are plenty of all terrains out there, but i gotta have aggressive for what I do. idk, i still have my eyes open, but im not guna rule the boggers out till I see them

From the pics those tires look almost bald, and Boggers or not bald tires are bald tires. I would be surprised if those lasted another 1,000 miles on the pavement before the tread was completely gone.

Well I didn't get them. they actually had about 40% rubber left, but on one of the tire it looked like something had been rubbing the sidewall right above the bead. I wouldn't even use it as a spare! So I am back to looking, thanks for all yalls help and insight on the subject. :waytogo:
