Need Lots of Stuff

The D44 will bolt right in and has 4:10. Will probably need ball joints cleaned up and new ubolts, but it works.

Pick it up if you want, it's damned near free, otherwise I'm tossing it after next weekend.

How I skimmed or missed your post Ill never know.. But yeah if the gears, hubs and spindles are good then Im game. I dont mind putting new wheel bearings and ball joints in if I have too.

Ah I just reread it and see that the outers are gone, no biggy I have a friend that has a 8 lug 10 bolt with 3.73s so Ill rob the outers off of it.

Well... he did inquire about the carrier first... so ehhh.. I guess if he's willing to give it up then you can come pick it up. There are no hubs on this. I took them for my 10b. It is spindle to spindle. Spindle have about 4wks or so worth of surface rust from sitting outside, but that shouldn't affect anything once you put them to use again.

well let him have the carrier then, Ive got several lines on other possible axles so no big deal man. :D

i got a radiator, 350 th350, 6" lift springs, 33"s xterrians, 6 lug rims, hard top windows, drivelines. ext let me know

I just got a line on an 89 K5 with a blown tranny for $600 about 30 miles north of me. If you still need the front end, I'll could part it out easy enough. What would the whole front setup be worth? $200 or so? Trying to justify bringing the whole thing home instead of just the parts I need and seeing if I recoup some of the cost.

Perhaps if you had a trailer and something to tow it with we could work out something for just getting the truck back to my place in Fredericksburg?

I have 8 lug outers, and the carrier is for a friend, not me, so if you get rid of the axle as a whole, do it. How is the tub on that '89???!! Looking for just a bare tub, maybe a frame.

I'm ganking the bed if I get it and some interior parts. Mine doubles for rear A/C vents now.

I do know where a 1980 k5 frame with suspension and running drivetrain are by me though. $600 with 350/th400/np205. I can get you the number for that if you like.

Dale... Tell ya what. skyyk5 has the outers you need. I have the axle. I need someone to bring up an ORD shackle flip from Richmond for me. If you know twoslo4five0 (lives in Richmond) and can grab the ORD kit, come pick up the axle and I'll help you load it up for free. I still have the stock steering hardware and a pair of calipers that need rebuilt you can have as well.

That work?

I'll be at Bloomsburg 4x4 jambo all this weekend (leaving tomorrow) so If you need the hubs, and know someone going, I could toss them in the back of the K5.

I need a Tub more then anything. My Full Top needs to be redone, So it's the last year for it till I get a rust free (ish) tub or win the lotto and buy a glass one.

I have come up with a front clip so Im good in that department. As far as getting the thing from Jay and bringing it to you, that is no problem, I have to get with him anyways to pick up a part he has for me. I will def take the axle, a little emery cloth should clean up the spindles just fine and throw some ball joints on it and it will be good.

Trevor I am coming up to Altoona not this weekend but the next to get a bunch of stuff. How close to there are you?

It may just be easier to buy new rotors and hubs, they arent too bad really..

Are you going to the cookout planned soon? If so, can you grab a set of rims from him as well and bring it up? I might even supply pizza and beer ;)

Not sure about Altoona. I'm about 4 miles off exit 130 on I-95.

Altoona is a bit away. I'm northeast near Scranton Pa. I might be down by philly soon in 3 weeks though.

What is this cookout you speak of? Is that the one in SC for wheelin dixie? I do have a friend going to that that is going to pick up some stuff for me. He lives in Charlotte and I will be going down there in the next month or so to grab that.

Oh just to clarify the spindles between 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton are different right?

Don't think so. D44 3/4T spindles swapped over to a 10b 1/2t axle without a problem.

And yes, the cookout a week from saturday on the 19th. Unless you need the axle sooner, you're welcome to come pick it up before then.

So does Jay have the wheels too? or is it somebody else at this cookout? Im going to big dogs in winchester so Ill come right through fburg to get on 17. Thats the last weekend in july.

My buddy has a a 3.73 10 8 lug 10 bolt that he's going to give me so Ill get the outers off that, so I dont need those outers Trevor, thanks though.

Jay will have the wheels after the 19th. A week from Saturday. If you're coming through last weekend in July, then Jay will have the wheels and flips for me so you can pick them up and grab the axle on the way. I'm one exit (exit 130), 3 miles before the 17 north exit. About 5 miles off the interstate.
