Currently, i have and new altenator(i think 80 amp). I have a duralast battery as well. On top of my car, there is 4 55watt lights. When i have the lights on as well as my high beams, the lights dim, until i acelerate. Do i need to get a stronger altenator, or battery. And what kind? where from? thanks

You could try www.powermaster.com for the alternator. I have one of their 140 amp versions. I also have a redtop Optima battery. Tons of places carry Optima like www.summitracing.com. With that combination I can turn on my 2, 130 watt lights and the voltmeter doesn't flinch. 2/0 gauge welding cable doesn't hurt either.
