Looking for the part # for the tailgate band/the trim plate on the back.
Mine has a few small dents in it.

Somebody posted a link to an nos on here not long ago. I'll look for ya

Best of luck, even the LMC replica piece is pricey in my opinion.
Yes and in the begining of my build I bought some stuff from them and most was cheap junk and doesn't even match factory. Either didn't use it or have since replaced it.

Holy **** that is the highest I have seen one for. But it is also for a truck not a blazer. Blazer and sub don't have the handle cut out.

That was a good friend of mine's and it was for a pickup. I have to be honest the price of NOS parts and the lack of quality in the aftermarket parts has down right ruined my love to redo a 73-87 GM....it actually makes me kick myself is the axx for selling my 86 K30 a few years ago.

Teck, I will check on monday for a GM part number for you.

I found these GM micro fish parts catalogs on line. Sorry 1978 is earliest.

They go up to 1991 just change the year for the 1979 through 1990.

14027525 is the part # for the blazer tailgate band. 14027523 is the part # for the "CHEVROLET" tailgate emblem.

Classicparts has the tailgate bands for $369.95 + shipping. Not sure if it is NOS or reproduction.

You can get the "CHEVROLET" emblem on ebay for $45.36 shipped.

I have a NOS tailgate band with the NOS "CHEVROLET" emblem that I will sell if you are interested. PM your # to me and I will send you pictures if you are interested.

Just drop 14027523 into the search bar at gmpartsdirect.com Showing ~$35.

Of course, other dealers are saying disco'd, but at that price probably worth a try.

What I've found with a number of the "Original GM" parts that places like LMC sell, is that the parts are actually still being sold by GM, they just charge a premium over what they get them for.
