Need source for exhaust manifold

Dorman has many listed but I've heard the quality is hit or miss..

I'd look in salvage yards ,if you have any that keep older stuff around...or look on E-bay or FB Marketplace for used ones..

Cool thanks. No junkyards here in the boonies. Wasn't sure if any members have a set collecting dust. Lol

I probably had a dozen pairs in the past, but used them all on my own trucks ,sold some to friends cheap too, when they failed to find any decent used ones...the OEM ones are far superior to any aftermarket china made ones..

I actually could use a pair of the 73-up style manifolds myself,I have two SBC engines, and only one came with "ram horns" ,that likely wont work for a square body ..none on the other engine, and I'm plumb out of "spares"..:(

Up here ,the "boonies" is the only place you may stumble across a old junkyard (or farm, property that morphed into an "illegal" one over the years) to get old parts from...but they are vanishing fast, ever since towns started using google earth and drones to snoop on properties known to have such hoards, they have been fining the owners for zoning violations, sic the EPA on them, and forcing them to clean out all the old vehicles,tractors,etc..

About 20 years ago my brother took me to an old farm that had more "junk cars" than many legit salvage yards, and man, they had some gold there--lots of '60's GTO's,Chevelles,Mopar muscle cars, and many were still practically intact, with not many parts missing..it was the only place that had clutch pedals for his '64 Tempest ,and a bellhousing, flywheel, etc to put in a Muncie 4 speed...
Sadly its gone now, condos and elderly housing developments not sit on the 100+ acre lot where it was..town forced the owners out after the farm was in their family for 3 generations..:(
