If I was offed $3K for the blazer should I take it? ONly have like 2100 in it or so....
2100 plus how many hours?
My time is free, it's experience for the next rig..
Send me a pic.....I'd probably buy it for $3000!!!!
It's a 1969, right?
71 GMC Jimmy
It's not really up for sale that seriously, I like the ol truck it just has quite a few minor annoyances, and If I can profit off it's sale and buy another one then.....
Your links don't work dude.
There are like four on Ebay for sale. Rate yours against those. I searched for k5 blazer.
if I were you I would ask for more than 3K for it as long as it runs good and the drive train is in good shape.Maybe I got ripped off but I bought my 72 k-5 cst for $2300 and yours is in better shape than mine. I say try for $4000. Just my thoughts on the matter.
not urgent, but that's too damn cheap...
thats a clean jimmy.a jimmy usually goes for more than a k5 also.if you look on ebay it is rare to find a clean jimmy for under 4000 dollars.
I think it's a nice truck, but if the thrill is gone.....
They are getting harder to find in that condition.
I've never been one to turn down a little profit. If ya don't think you would miss it...let it go. I've been toyin' with the idea myself....selling.....
Well the guy never called back so....no biggy I'd have to turn around and buy something else but...I can get blazers in that price range all day long, cage would be the hardest part to replace.
with that cage i wouldnt want to replace that again.it is kewl looking to me and functional.did you know someone who made that or is it a kit of some sort?looks like at least 1000 dollars or more for the cage alone.ive seen lesser cages than that for 800 dollars.
Les made that cage his-own-self(well...he had a little help from a squid....laketex) /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
It does look good though!
Thanks for the comp mike. Yea I made that cage, kinda impressive for my first one, some yankee from illinois gave me some insite and knowledge on the way thru. If it wasn't for his help and experties it would never have happened.
WEll overall story on the truck right now is that the guy never called back, kinda wish his brothers wife would have called though hehe, so it's still mine, I started changing the rear fluid this week, and trying to get things all reliable so I can drive it home this summer.
thanks for all the comps and comments guys /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
heck yes sell it, I wouldn't give 35 cents for that ugly orange pos...btw this is bryan and bite me!
well bite me cause I didn't sell it and I got a 14B FF tonight with 4.10's for $50 ha
sweet. lift? tires?
I'm getting a bender soon, so bring your butt to Illinois and I'll build you one too. Why not right? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
how much would it cost me?i dont know how much tubing is.would be a nice drive though.took me 8 hours i think just to get to the border of PA/IL when i drove cross country.but that was going 90 in a toyota celica that got 25 miles per gallon. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gifcost me 5 bucks in gas just to drive to work and back every day.and that is only 30 mile round trip.if you want to sell one i will be interested.let me know when you got the bender and give me an estimate of what you would want to build one for me.
