    I know this isnt the audio section, but there are more of you in here than over there in the audio section.
    Im replacing the stock with a CD player, and I 've got all the wires hanging out. There is a white plastic box that has the DELCO sticker on it, is that the gadget that reduces the bass when the volume is too load? If so can I cut it out? And which of the wires is the constant power and the ignition power?

    Will work for parts, beer and sex.

    I think the circuit you're talking about is the "loudness" circuit. That's usually built into the system itself, not as an add-on. It boosts part of the signal at low volume so the music doesn't sound tinny.
