Never knew ya needed a 6x6.....

I would really love to have a 5ton wrecker... Endless usefulness.

From engine picks to moving stuff around. Setting beams/trusses for small buildings, uprooting trees to clear land...
You never knew what you could do with one until you have it sitting there. My big dozer has a hundred uses besides pushing dirt.

They are very versatile, the boom is pretty short. When pulling this shipping container off of my friends trailer the wrecker could easily handle the whole weight on it's own, but without a spreader bar it needed to share the load (almost at max height in these pics).

I just stumbled on a video of a guy doing a bobbed deuce on the Tube. Pretty sure I need one. Crew cab would be sweet to take the kids along otherwise I could just use it as my DD to go to work. Probably drive the same speed as my 6.2L K5 up the canyon lol.

Depending on which model and engine haha. My m816 wrecker will maintain 45mph up most hills, drops to 25mph going up a 6% grade. That's with me watching the exhaust temps. Before I got a gauge for that it would maintain 55mph going up those hills but the exhaust temp was up around 1400F.

After having owned both a deuce and a 5 ton, 5 ton is the way to go.

my old deuce.
