this is what i just read:

A good rule of thumb is to use Never-Seez on the injectors. If you don't, and they need to be replaced, you might not get them out. However, do not use anything on the glow plugs that keep them from making contact with the block!

i have never heard this. i thought u should always put them on glow plugs. this is from a 6.2 build i just read. so this needs to be done or not.

thanks

Your glow-plugs work by having a positive feed through the wire and negative from the body of the glow plug's contact with the block.

I'd look on the anti-seize label to see what it says about electronics or contacts.:wink1:

Most high temp antiseizes are metallic based; at my shop, we use high temp anti-seize on all glow plugs and nozzles (injectors to you). If a nozzle gets that tight, imagine how tight a glow plug could get, and how easily it would round off :doah:. Not a good time. We do it everyday, and we never have issues with poor glow plug performance.
