New 3 car Garage

My air lines are PEX. The water lines used in houses in this area. rated to 300 psi. Easy to run. 10 outlets in walls and 2 from the ceiling.

10 110 4 gang outlets. 6 220 outlets. no extension cords needed. More lights are always better. Painted with high gloss pure white.

These pictures show the bench more than the work room. But you get the idea.

PEX makes more sense for air than pcv. The junction fittings aren't glued together so glue related failure points are non-existant especially if it's run in full lengths.

Nice shop space!

I installed 3/4 pvc in my shop back in 1995 and it held up fine for many years but recently we started having blowouts so for obvious saftey and libality reasons we switched to 1" pex a couple months ago and so far so good.

So we have been moved in for a bit and haven’t had a chance to do much but cram stuff into the garage. It’s not as deep as I would have liked with cars in it. I’m going to have to get creative vertically as that is where my real estate is. Plans are on hold at the moment for floor coatings. I did how ever go with some 300 watt equivalent compact florescent bulbs in three spots. Those suckers are bright. Gonna go peruse Lowes tomorrow and see what I can come up with for shelving.
