I just ran into a heck of a deal. I picked up a 1982 1Ton 4X4. No rust, SM 465-205, 14bff, I believe D60, new springs , axles, tranny, t-case, all completely rebuilt, fresh paint, no motor. It had a 454 in it but the PO pulled it out for another project he is now into. I'm thinking about putting a 350 in it that I have in my shed. I gave a whopping $500.00 for it. Oh yea, I also picked up a set of BFG Mud Terrains from him for $100.00 for all 4. They only had 1000 miles on them. I needed them for my 2000 K3500.

that would have been a steal just for the axles! now if only i could get so lucky and have 1 ton setup appear outta nowhere for practically nothin! good find man!
Yea, I actually went there to get the tires.( he's my sister's neighbor) Then I saw the truck and looked it over, the next day I went back over there and asked him what was up with the truck and if he was interested in selling it. He said give me $500.00 for it and it's your's. I said, has it got a clean title, he said, Yes, I said go grab the title as I reached into my wallet and handed him the cash.

That's kinda a tricky thing to look at. Thought i had me a set but turned out the 44's came out with a set of hubs bigger then normal. I almost bought em but changed my mind. I mean 60's are probably bigger but these looked HUGE compared to what i'd seen before

idk if them are the hubs you were talkin about. When someone says hubs i immediately think of lockin hubs. Am i wrong to assume

Ive never seen hubs that large on a 44, but no those are not the hubs I pictured. I would be confused at first glance also
I'll hafta' to look at them a little closer. I've been really busy this week with work. I own my own concrete buisness and we've been humping our ass off. By the way, I live about 60 miles north of Green Bay just off of HWY 32, 7 miles north of Suring.
