new Holley TBI trouble!!

put a holly TBI on the truck an hour ago, and the butterfies wont open all the way. the ports on the intake are 1 3/4 and the TBI is 2 1/16. so the butterflies are being stopped by the intake. WTF do I do? TBI spacer?

I would pull the intake and ream them holes out. I would also consider making it an open plenum design, by eliminating the center section, allowing both sides of the motor to feed off a common plenum.

Holly sells a thick gasket that adapts it to the 1 11/16" bore. But its better to get the manifold bored out as said above.

Get a torque swirl spacer,you get the space to open up the carb and you get better atomization of fuel....more torque!
