New impact has no power

Haha, our service trucks run above 200psi and they run their 3/4" inch guns all day, and they say (MAX 90 PSI), I think thats one of those lawyer proof warnings.. Remember too, any extension you put on it will cut the power by alot, I'd be willing to guess almost half. Don't ask me to explain it, because I don't have a clue, its just the way it is.

half? no way broheim... it cuts the power by a little, and thats because torque over time decreases... but its nowhere near half....

I guess that would depend on the length of the extension and type of socket. Swivel sockets also eat up torque.

Are their any air leaks? I have gotten a couple impacts from people who said they wouldn't put out good torque, that I have replaced gaskets and oiled. They performed beautifully after that.
