Hey folks, newbie to the forum. I like it! Lot's of 6.2 stuff!!!
If you run Beasley I'm guessing you are in GA. Fill out your profile and let us know something about yourself or we will be forced to give you the POR greeting. Welcome to the fun.
PS: Are you going to Dixie Run?

From one newbie to another...
Welcome to CK5!!!
These guys are a big help with any questions you might have regarding your rig.
Welcome!!! This is a great group of some realy cool people.
Yep, North East Ga.-Cumming Ga. to be exact. I most likely will not be doing the Dixie Run. Right now "Stinky" is still in his daily driver clothes. I was setting him up as my tow vehicle for a CJ5 I had. Got married and sold the CJ to get a daily driver and now Stinky is being slowly transformed into my 4 wheeler. Right now it's too stiff and the shocks too short to get any travell. Plus the winch went with the CJ /forums/images/icons/frown.gif Thanks for the welcome everyone. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
Welcome, come on in and talk about whatever's on your mind.
Welcome! CK5 rules as you will soon find out. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
"Stinky" is a pretty popular name for oil burners LOL.
www.gbr4wd.com That's who BigJBear and I roll with. Beater74 is a prospect if he would ever get his POS on a couple trails he would be a member. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif Most of the trail rides we run we try to pick spots where a relatively stock truck can go and then have a gonzo group run the hard stuff. I ran my 79 (its been comendered by my wife and now her DD) stock for several years with almost no problems. Your truck is far more capable in stock form that you probably realize. My 79 has run everything but 233 at Beasley. It's also run a good bit of Tellico.
Here is a picture of the 79 on trail 6 in January at Tellico The was several years ago when trail 6 was more difficult than it is now.
Welcome to CK5!
Yep, the Stinky name is pretty popular. Mine got named that back when I first bought it about 7 yrs ago by a friend of mine. We are always naming each other's vehicles. I named his 3/4 ton 6.2 "Tater"/ he named mine Stinky as it had a injector pump problem when I first got it. Smoked quite a bit.
BTW, on the Tellico thing- You said a few years ago, how long? I had a orange CJ5 with 33s and was up at Tellico and Beasly a good bit back 3 yrs ago. We might have seen one another.
