Newer rims on 90 Blazer

Woohoo, my first post on CK5.
Been reading this board for a long time, figured it was time to join.

My question is: I've got a buddy with 15x8" Eagle 589's off of a Z71. Will they fit on a 90 Blazer. I know the bolt pattern is the same but will they fit over the hub. I checked Eagle's website and they only offer 1 589 in 15x8 so I figure it's universal. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I think you're right. Especially since it is a 15 inch rim. Make sure the offset is something around your stock offset and you should be good to go.

I'd like to but I'm still in the process of getting the 90 K5. I was hoping to snatch up these rims before he sold them to someone else. I see you have 10" 589's, I guess if they fit fine then the 8" wouldn't have a problem. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Measure the backspacing before laying out $$$, but they should fit

If the backspacing was correct for the IFS truck (5.5"), it will not be correct for your truck (3.5").

Eagle lists the 15 x 8 as a 3.25" backspacing. That should work then.

What diameter is the hub on a 10 bolt? 3"???
