No acc power Key half way

I tested every fuse and open slot in the fuse box with test light and it seems they’re either hot without key in ignition or hot with key in start position but nothing lights up in the accessory position. My steering column doesn’t really have an “marked” accessory position. I was hoping to hook up my hot wire for stereo without having it in the start position

The adjustment on the switch at the base of the column may be off. How far do turn to get it to crank mode ? a little or a lot or just right ?? Then go take a nap
