any other suggestions? i verified and it's an aldlcables one. maybe I should try another unit and make sure it's not my obd port>? I really don't wanna buy another one at 60

How can I make one cheap? or should I open mine up and try to make sure wires are correct?

You can build a cable with plans online, the one for TBI is pretty basic.

If it were me, I'd try and find someone local that has another setup that works, to test.

The guy that created tunerpro RT helped me directly with my setup, and even he used his personal equipment to test which of mine was bad. If he can't figure out the problem "remotely", I expect it's pretty hard to do.

I'm the last person on the planet to advocate parts changing without diagnosis, in this cases, it's near impossible to follow that. But I'm also cheap, and didn't want to spend $60 for a cable that wasn't the problem. In my case, the cable was indeed bad.

Fixed thanks to cuervo. Turns out with the 91 burb that program wont work. I used tts datamaster and a little tweaking and everything works great. Thanks again.
