ok
today, driving probably less than 50 miles
i used 15$ in gas.

that was say...8 gallons, so thats 6mpg or so. Lets say 7mpg.

THAT IS AWEFUL
I USED 15$ TODAY AND I HAD TO PUT ANOTHER 10$ IN BEFORE I CAME HOME

way too much for gasoline.

so im faced with a dilema. I want to keep my truck. i want to work on it, learn on it, drive it into the ground and build it up again forever. But i need a super fuel economic car. But i have no $.

So here is my plan. I will get a modest job. Drop the k5 from insurance, let her sit. Immediately buy a fuel friendly vehicle, drive it for work until i am making enough to pay for the k5. Sound like a plan?

Im in a funny situation right now. I dont have a job, because i have no time to get one. I am baby sitting and driving my sister around almost every day. The days i have off, im doing this or that for my parents. Any advice? Sister mom and dad all work, so i get money from them for running their errands. But i am still broke and owe some people lots.

being 19 is great.

This may not fit into your immediate plan, but a diesel K5 will give you the best of both worlds /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Leave home, serve your country, go to college for free while your in, at the same time earning money and learning job skills, go to more college for free on the GI Bill when you get out of military, get good job, play with K5 when you have free time. Sound like a plan? /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

they can fork out a bit more then. if they have a problem with this then i guess the rides can quit while you find a job.

they will understand.
