so I have owned my truck since 1986.... matter of fact I did a manual trans swap before the interwebs was here... and you couldn't just go google and find what parts you need.. (back then was AltaVista, digpile and yahoo search)...
anyway my truck was driven on 33's and wheeled.... hard for 2years... got married and wife said daily driver cant wheel it.. so years went by and 3rd vehicle came along and truck sat.. in the woods and in 1997 I went up 15" lift getting ready for militaries and 53" Michelins.. long story short, local shop screwed me over, truck took months not weeks and truck couldn't pass inspection. It sat since 1997 till 2004 when I told the wife it is getting back on the road... and yes it is...
now is it fun to drive? offroad yes... on road... meh kinda... in the heat.... HELL NO... wanders on the road, bias ply bumpidy bump, etc... now I bought a 2013 GMC Sierra crew cab Z92 which is a package from American luxury coach.. yes super nice truck.. drove nice, head turner, was great, @80mph so was like a caddy.... never took offroad ... mall cruiser... so ill tell anyone that wants to go wheeling.. Ill take my ole truck and fyi.. sold the Z92 to get the wife a jeep wrangler unlimited sahara (bone stock other than its loaded items)....
I understand what people say about the new trucks and how the old trucks are basket cases.... when I first got my truck I booger fixed everything.. I am still to this day finding stuff and fixing it right the first time and the truck is getting more and more reliable....
ill die and my kids will inherit my truck.. hell my last pics I posted of me being stuck a 17yr old ran up going... I KNOW THIS TRUCK.. I KNOW THIS TRUCK!!!! WHERE IS THE OWNER?!?!?!?!

hah!!! few people saw my truck even stuck they were in it.. saying... dude this is one of the baddest trucks back here!!!!! and it was broke, not running... running now!!!!
