Ok not exactlly. I want to see if there is any way to block off the rear brakes. I am going to be putting SRW hubs on my D70 so I can run Hummer wheels, and after buying my wheels I will not have the money to do the disc brakes for awhile. So I just need some way to wheel the rest of the summer without going through gallons of brake fluid.

There is a way, but it's not recommended. Please have working brakes or consider driving something else for the time being.

let me explain....this is a river toy and is trailered to the river. I drove it for about 6 months with the wheel cyliders out with no problems, I just use granny for going down hills. Its just I wont be able to put the drums back on.

when I swapped my 14bolt the wheel cylinders where [darn] so I stuck a pair of vise grips on the rubber line and away I went.
I honestly didn't notice much of a difference without them, probably due to the short wheel base

They make inverted flare plugs that you can buy at your local auto parts store. They'll sell them to you. What you do with them after that is your own business. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

I was waiting disc brake parts which I got within a week from doing it.
