Almost all of the diesel wiring is the same as the gas version... everything diesel specific is just add on wiring that is in a seperate harness from the main one. If your converting a gas rig to diesel the only wire I had to change on my '79 K10 was the HEI ignition wire needed to be extended to the front of the 6.2L. Then I added the glowplug wiring harness from a donor truck (but modified it for manual operation). Alternator, oil pressure, and temp sensors are all in the same locations between a SBC and a 6.2L.
