Driver's License: Na not yet, soon I hope.

Here are some updates of what I have done with my truck stuff

First off I rebuilt my rear spring packs: I took it all apart, then sanded it, followed by primer along with flat black paint, and in the end I reassembled them followed by one more coat of flat black paint then stored them away temporarily.

I have assembled a pair of Shackle Eye Hangers and they're ready to be installed.

I have tried a couple different colors of green and this is the one I like the most of the color selections.

This color is Deep Jewel Green Metallic.

How do you guys store your painted parts until ready for use?

I was thinking about wrapping them in newspapers until I was ready to go get my truck.

I should have some more updates by the middle of next week.

Oh, by the way, that is a photo of my little brother, not me.

Wow this whole thread and not one mention of the truck you have, or any pics of the truck. C'mon now we are waiting. Welcome to the board.

I'll need some parts from your dad soon ( gaurdsman, rear shock inboarding brace, and eventually a B52). Tell him I said you can have the profits...

When I wanted to start racing motorcross at your age my parents really dragged their feet. be persistant

Just be sure to use every single one of your dads parts that he makes :haha:

Heres some pics for you guys this is the project truck itself

What the truck will donate to my truck is: the hood, axles, and the rest will be scrapped or parted out.

The little dude going to take over eventually Kert?:D

He thinks so, but he don't have a tenth the ambition required!:haha: He was at the shop all day today sitting at a computer playin' games. I think he managed to get one leaf spring packed disassembled and cleaned up. He's learnin' yet, he's got long way to go.

I'll admit i'm not a very good teacher though. I'm somewhat impatient, demanding and sometimes short tempered. I need to work on that! I'm sure Motormouth will agree!
