In my shop. Doing stuff.
1979 Corvette. Eileen's freshman year of high school, her dad had one.

Been looking for a while.

No rust in the frame. California car until last year.

He claims a 400hp SBC, TCI manual valve body th400. Engine swap needs finished. Everything is there. Paint is driver condition. Interior needs seats and dash. 90k on the odometer.

Will pick it up tomorrow.

So how much work to make it a driver in terms of the engine swap?

Finish radiator install. Electric fans. PS pump, alternator, AC pump. Plug wires and cap. Some other little stuff. Told Eileen I can't touch it until after the first of the year. She leaves for work on October 22nd. I plan on having it running when she gets back in 14 days.

Shhhh, don't tell her.

Shhhh, don't tell here.
Sounds like a cool surprise. Find any baffles for the pipes?

I am going to try to fire it this weekend. Will tell me if the mill is ok to finish, or do I need to swap the 5.7l I have sitting here in it.
