I have a minor interference with my NWF X-over steering and the stock BBC engine crossmember. Has anyone else had this problem after they went crossover, and if so how did you fix it. Photos would be greatly appreciated!
I run NWF crossover with bent draglink on my 76 K5 and have contact with the crossmember too. I have notched it slightly and have the bend more horizontal then verticle. A friend told me to just let it bend and self clearance itself. I stil am having a hella time getting the freakin drag link dialed in right. I can't turn to lock going left. Some rides seems better then others but it's frustrating as hell. I have broke one sector shaft and so am very carefull to keep the stress off the box as much as possible.
Hey TOM, your only options are to make a new cross-member yourself or buy that ORD one.I had the same problems, even tried cutting the stock one back but, its just too far forward. Do you have access to a fab shop? it doesnt look too hard to make.
