np 205 TWIN STICK

I don't know for sure, but I doubt it. I rebuilt my 205 not too long ago and in order to get the shift rails out you have to take a punch at the top of the case and drive out two pins holding the shift fork to the rails. It doesn't seem like you'd have enough room between the body and the t-case to get a punch and swing a hammer. But I don't have your setup either so I don't know how much room you have there.

Just my thoughts.

Agree I don't think you could get the pins out, but if you could you could do it untill you dropped something in the case and had to take it apart anyway to get the part out. Come on it only weighs about a bazillion pounds :D

You can unbolt the transmission tunnel from inside the cab and access the top that way.

Newer K5's have the tunnel welded in. :frown1:

Just cut open the floor. :D

That is what I would do.. then weld some tabs in to bolt it down...

my cab is from a 1982 2wd diesel... 4wd's bolt in.... thus I cut the 2wd hump out as they are also not as high... and bolted my 4wd one in....

Isn't it tranny, 203, 205 from front to back? Just unbolt the 205. It's not that bad. How soon you gonna do this? I should have my own version of the process up soon, including details on how to doing your own twin sticks for cheap.
