Is $415 for a np205 delivered to my door a good price? It is not rebuilt just in good working order.
Sounds expensive for a transfer case that was in literally millions of trucks. If it were rebuilt and pristine it might be a decent deal, but if not it sounds like a lot. I've seen 465/205 combos for less than that. The only other way it might be worth that is if it comes with a rare tranny adaptor, like one for a TH350.
depend's on how far it is being shipped from and what it is for.
also if it includes the adaptor.
32 spline for 400, would be a for sure good deal /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
Hey guy, I live in Houston too.
That sounds pricey for a 205. There are tons of junkyards here that sell them for decent prices. Check out all the jyards in Pasadena and the ones on Fuqua near the beltway.
I would pay that amount for a 400-version 205, only if it was a pre-'85 model. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
Thanks everyone, I guess i will take my lazy ass up to the junk yard. It is just so much easyer when the sh!t is droped off at you door step.
