how many of you have a model/manufactorer plate on the flat spot on the front of your t-case ? this provides year and serial #. i have one t-case that had one and another that doesnt. the one that doesnt dont even have the drill holes where it was mounted. i scraped down with a pocket knife to the metal and no holes. whats up with this ? is there another way to tell what year your t-case is ? thanks ahead of time. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

not sure, i would have to put my truck in a parts cleaner to find out. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I will look when i get home tonight and let you know what i see.

All the ones Ive seen have tags, or the evidence there was once a tag. What difference does it make what year it is? I didn't think it mattered. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
