Is anyone else running these? I see lots of rigs with the rallys, quite a few with the later model aluminum wheels, and some with the base steel wheels and hub caps, but I don't know of anyone running these. If you are, pics? Has anyone ran them with beauty rings?

Buddie had them on a couple trucks. No pics though. But they did look pretty decent IMO

I would love to have a set of these, honestly more than any other wheels, factory or aftermarket.

I made my onw set in 8 lug version for the project stubby

new out of the box D-window rims

blasted

repainted white with 88-up style drw rear caps and lug nut covers . then conversion lug nuts to hold the nut covers.

I have a set that Im going to have blasted and powder coated black for my 98 K1500.

I have the ford version of those in 5 lug. Almost identical. Same off white as the chevys too. Putting them on my heep. With caps

Huh. Much later than I thought. I've always liked plain white wheels. Just never had a truck they'd be right on.

I've always liked them. They just look right on a stock/stockish truck. I can count on one hand the number of trucks I've seen in person with them though. Maybe I haven't been paying close enough attention.

Almost makes me want to go back to 1/2 ton axles.

White D-Window wheels are available with 8 lugs.

That center cap isn't available in eight lug though.

Gotta be something over the years that would work.

I junked an 83 short bed and an 82 long bed k10's that had them. Not sure if they were on there since new, but they still had the factory centers. Are they desirable? I'll start saving them for people if they are.

I had a set of 4 factory white spokers in nice shape on my 75 2WD Blazer I bought back in the mid 80's for 150 bucks...
I sold them with bald bias ply tires for the same price about a year later!..

A guy at a swap meet I sold stuff at monthly saw them on display, and kept walking by them, finally he said "what are you asking for those rims?"...I said "best offer"..he said "I had to look a few times--to be sure they were 5 lug,not 6!..these are factory"?.."yes,and I have the center caps & all too"...he said he was looking for rims for his 2WD pickup, and didn't know GM made the white spoked ones for 2WD trucks too...

My brother suggested I ask 50 each, seeing other sellers were getting that for rally rims, but I let him take them for 150 bucks, rather than lug them home again...(wish I had kept them many times since though)..

Reason I sold them was a friend had a '76 Lincoln Continental he was going to scrap, that had nearly brand new michelin radial snows on the rear and all seasons up front--when I found out the rims on that had the 5 lug 5" bolt pattern,I asked him to sell them to me..he said "get me 4 rims, with out without tires so this thing will roll off the trailer, you can have them!..
I lived in an apartment and was tired of having 4 tires on rims in the back of the Blazer,so they got sold...

I should have filed the center holes on those Lincoln stock rims out before I put them on my Blazer though..they went on VERY tight, and it came back to bite me one day when I had a flat a few years later...that dam rim refused to come off until I caved the inner bead in with my 20 lb sledge!..almost knocked the truck off the jack stand hammering it off!..good thing it went flat in my driveway..would have sucked bad if it happened on the road somewhere..:doah:

Ive always liked them but they are only.desirable on CK5.
It would be nice to have a set around but not worth kicking around for what they.would bring.cas wise

Wow! I never even knew they were a factory option. I always thought the "wagon wheel" was aftermarket...:dunno:

Did they offer that in 8 lug trucks too?
