Eastbound and Down
Ah man.. I've seen that one before...
How about a different one?
How much would you sell that one for?
How about a different one?

But too many trucks,
Blasphemy. No such thing.

Right now. Not that badly. I need to make my own stuff run first.
There is definitely such a thing. You just said so earlier today...![]()
That's not the same thing...
Your truck is to much work for me right now....needs matching fenders and a engine swap before I would rock it...

Actually thinking about it, a SBC 400 that needs a home.... But stepside fenders are stupid expensive...
I asked about the greener one, the one you said you were interested in. That's the one that people have been asking about. Got another inquiry tonight. Can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I wasn't planning on selling it before the end of camping season, but a suitcase full of money could change my mind on that.![]()

Oh!! I thought you were asking me about blue!
The blazer would still need that 400 though...
I scrapped the matching 1982 fenders. Crushed them flat. Didn't know anyone who wanted them, even for free. Still have the stupid taillights. Figured I'd use them for a trailer someday. Looking back, I probably shouldn't have.
Life is too short to hoard all the useful parts...
I just told you. 4 now 5 posts back...Any and all of my vehicles are for sale, if the price is high enough.
What would you do with another stepside?
Please do not tell me they were clean rust free....
I just told you. 4 now 5 posts back...
Ok, I won't tell you that.
The cab was rusty, but the bed was really clean for the region. IIRC (from back in 2010), the gas flap was the only rusty spot on the back half. Even now the cross members still have their factory black paint on them. Though the bed sides were scratched and bent.

Couldn't give it away. Really, all that was left after I grabbed the cross members, strips, wiring, and running boards were the bent box and the half-perfect fenders. Not enough for an entire project.
You're fast on the edit, I didn't see that. Your plan is fine, though I'm pretty sure it would spiral into a whole cloud of M.A.W. once you start lifting a street truck. 29s look pretty stupid with a 4" lift.
But getting back to rally rims would be nice.
