Hope and $6 will buy you another can of paint! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Looks nice though, couldn't find a higher temp paint? Thought I've seen 1700-1800 somewhere /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif hope it holds up for ya!

I've never seen anything above 1200*, i figure the metal will be on the verge of melting at 1700* so the paint isn't much good then. . .

good luck but i dought they will stay red for more than a day not critisizing just sayin that stuff reay aint all it cracks itself up to be and there is at least 1500* /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif paint

I painted my big block headers with 1200 degree paint,

it is still looking good/decent. I did a quick prep job and used the aluminum 1200 degree paint, some came off likly because of prep work, but most of it is looking good /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
