I reckon ya gotta..............Clicky!
Thats ridiclous. Its a black thing you wouldnt understand.
I was out looking for a bike for my daughter the other day, it's her birthday coming up and her last bike got stolen.
Anyways, I see this bike in a major department store and it's a freakin Chopper. Alloy rims and a really fat rear tire. Had to be a 190 which is huge on a bike. It was really well done...looked like WCC had built it.
I think we'll just get her a full suspension MB again though. The Chopper would be cool for a year or so, then it'd get embarrassing I think.
About 22 years ago my friend was 8 years old and modified his bike into a chopper. He still has it yet toady and rides it through town with his son. It looked awesome parked in the bike rack at school because the back tire stuck out about 2 feet farther than everyone else's.
Wish I had mine.....we cut the forks off another and welded 'em on to make extended front ends. Looked kool. Mine was red, white and blue w/stars. My friend's was blue, white and red w/stars. Mine blue banana seat his red seat, sissy bars and ape hanger handle bars on both. Even white lettered our tires!
Well, this one looks like the modern day version of that. No sissy bar, low flat handle bars, and the rear fender exactly like what you see on American Chopper bikes. Even the seat looks Motorcyclish...
I should go back and snap a pic...
Get this one for her, it's only $3,000 + $200 shipping!
Can I interest you in one of these babies Rene?
Thats the First prototype DH racing bike we debuted in 2003 Interbike in Las Vegas.
She'll set you back....oh about $10,000 without and gold plating or "spinnaz"
4 Piston Disc's, Titanium springs in the fork and rear shock, 6061 T-6 Frame construcation, Torrington Needle Bearing pivots, 100% neutral floating disc brake system....blah blah blah. Screw Bling, it's all about technology that makes this one beautiful.
That thing looks sweet!!!! Kind of reminds me of a Mtn. Cycle San Andreas. (no offense)...
That thing is beautiful Kyle...is there anything you guys don't do well?
I doubt it'd last more than a day or two in Surrey though and I'd be back at square one (and $10K poorer...LOL)
BTW, you have a pm.
Rene did it look like this?
Made by huffy, 169$'s at wallyworld
No, a lot lower and longer, way nicer rims and 'flat track' style handle bars. Price was similar ($229 CDN)
The rear tire on this one had to be 6" or wider too, with the front being normal for a bycicle.
i might just stop and snap a pic, or see if I can find it online.
