Some people tell me there is a gasket, some people say you dont need one. Wouldnt a gasketed one be the best even if it doesnt require a gasket. I bought gasket paper to make one, it seems logical to me to have a perfect seal there, because my old bearings need all the oil availible.

Anybody got opinions or facts plz reply.

For some reason, some kits come with one.

Do NOT use them. The surfaces are machined so the fit is rather close. If you ues the gasket & it partially blows out, you will have a massive leak where the gasket was causing more harm than good. Please throw them away ASAP.

No gasket is needed. Toss it, they come in kit's but toss it anyhow. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
